Foreclosure Auction Sales Results for June 4th 2010
Last week’s foreclosure auction sales results are in and the numbers shake out as follows: In the three counties REIF operates in (King, Pierce, SnoCo) there were a total of 30 sales to third parties. That is 30 out of 208 properties that were on the calendar to be sold. The remainder either reverted back to the beneficiary or were cancelled.

You are correct. These days condo’s have to be looked at very closely. There are a number of issues that can derail a deal that have nothing to do with a potential buyer and everything to do with the condo or HOA. The financial strength of the HOA is a big issue as so many associations have had to absorb the lost income of the many properties that are in foreclosure in their developments.
Beware condo buys unless for a personal residence or rental. They are hard to resell due to the new financing restrictions. Excellent buyers can be turned down due to nothing about them, but everything about being a condo and the new financing rules especially FHA.
